Can Collet Vell is a beautiful converted house situated in a peaceful countryside just at 15´minutes drive to the old town of Pollensa. The property has lots of traditional Mallorcan features and furnishings, and it is surrounded by olive grove and mature gardens. It has lovely views towards the Serra de Tramontana mountain range.
Inside, the house has large rooms and lots of space. It is cool and comfortable with a mixture of white washed walls; terracotta tiled floors and beamed ceilings. Upon entering the house there is a large lounge dining room with French doors opening onto the large covered terrace that overlooks the crystal clear water roman style swimming pool. The lounge has leather settees, satellite TV and a DVD player, as well as an open fire place to use during the cooler months of spring and autumn. A door leads onto the wooden style fitted kitchen with appliances such as a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, ceramic hob, electric hob, fridge/freezer and many other kitchen utensils. A double bedroom and a full bathroom complete the ground floor level of the house.
An open stair case from the dining room leads up to the first floor where the rest of the bedrooms are located; they comprise of two twins (both are sharing a full bathroom). All the bedrooms have air conditioning units and fitted wardrobes.
The gardens and pool are really well established with lots of Mediterranean plants, lawns and trees for shade and privacy. A covered dining-terrace overlooks the pool and garden. It is full of traditional character and history but has been updated to be comfortable and welcoming. The stone built in barbecue is a bonus for those who enjoy cooking al fresco during the hot evenings of the Mallorcan summer.
