Pinos Altos is placed in the wonderful area of Cala San Vicente, a spot that retains its position as one of the most popular resorts on the island. Separated from Puerto Pollensa by the distinctive Serra de Tramontana mountain range, it nestles at the foot of a beautiful pine clad valley that leads down to the secluded sandy coves surrounded by dramatic mountain scenery. Cala San Vicente is the ideal spot for relaxing holiday. There are just a few shops, cafes, restaurants, hotels and a doctor surgery grouped around the two bays which are separated by a rocky headland. A five minutes drive takes you to Puerto Pollensa and to the beautiful, historic Old town of Pollensa. Pinos altos is set in a particularly quiet and pretty position towards to the rear of the resort and surrounded by tall pines from which it takes its name. Just a short walk from the beach and resort centre and with a bus stop along the road, it is an excellent choice for families with young children or for couples that want to relax.
